Scripture:
Psalm 119:90-91
"Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you."
Reflection:
Just as surely as the sun rose in the east this morning and will set in the west tonight, God's faithfulness continues. His ordained purposes—like the rhythm of creation itself—will not change. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who provided a ram for Abraham, who gave wisdom to Joseph, is the God who walks with you today.
God's Word has been banned, burned, and buried across continents through centuries, yet it remains the best-selling book of all time with nearly 7 billion copies in existence. Why? Because what God ordains endures. His Word serves His purposes, and when you align yourself with Scripture, you align yourself with what will last forever.
Prayer:
Faithful God, I praise You that Your Word has endured through every generation and will continue forever. Help me trust that what You've established will not fail. When I'm tempted to doubt whether Your promises still apply, remind me of Your unchanging faithfulness. Let me build my life on what endures rather than what fades. Amen.
Action:
Read 1 Peter 1 today. As you read, underline or highlight every reference to things that endure versus things that fade away. Let this shape your priorities.
