The Unchanging Lord

 Scripture:
"I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed." (Malachi 3:6 NIV)

"The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever." (Psalm 119:160 ESV)

Reflection:
In a world where everything seems to shift—jobs, relationships, economies, even our own feelings—God remains constant. His nature never changes, His character is forever faithful, and His principles stand firm. The spiritual laws He's established aren't arbitrary rules but expressions of His unchanging nature designed for our flourishing. When we understand that God's laws are as reliable as gravity, we can trust them completely. The Law of Lordship reminds us that before anything else existed, God was—and He remains sovereign over all. This isn't just theological truth; it's the foundation for how we live, spend, give, and prioritize everything in our lives.

 Prayer:

Lord, thank You that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. In a world of constant change, You are my anchor. Help me to trust not just in Your existence, but in Your active lordship over every area of my life—including my finances. Give me confidence that Your principles are true and that following them leads to blessing. Amen.

 Action:

Write down three areas of your life where you've been treating something as more reliable than God (career security, savings account, etc.). Confess these to God and declare His lordship over each one.
