Trusting and Obeying in All Seasons

Scripture:
1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

Reflection:

Adversity is inevitable, but it is also an invitation. Don’t bail on Jesus when things get tough. When you go through an adverse season, press into Jesus. Trust and obedience are not just for the easy days; they are forged and proven in difficulty.
When we cast our cares on Jesus, we aren’t just offloading anxiety—we’re confessing our dependence on His strength, wisdom, and love. Obedience, especially when it’s hard, keeps our hearts tender and our steps aligned with His will.
What challenge or pain are you facing right now? Instead of withdrawing or relying on your own resources, move toward Jesus. He cares for you and will sustain you. Trust Him in the trial, and let obedience be your offering of love. In every season, His presence is your hope and anchor.

Prayer:

Jesus, I cast my cares on You today. Help me to trust You in every circumstance and to obey Your promptings, even when it’s hard. Thank You that nothing can separate me from Your love. Amen.

Action:

Identify a current challenge or anxiety. Spend time in prayer, intentionally handing it over to Jesus. Take one concrete step of obedience that you sense He is asking of you.
