Experiencing More of Christ

Scripture:
Philippians 3:10 (NIV)
“I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death…”

Reflection:

Paul’s longing was not just to “know about” Jesus, but to know Him intimately and experientially: “I want to know Christ… the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings.” Growth with Jesus is ongoing. The more we surrender, the more we experience His transforming presence.
Christianity is not a one-time decision but a lifelong pursuit of Christ. This is a relationship that deepens as we yield more of ourselves—our dreams, wounds, ambitions—to Him. Sometimes, this means relinquishing control or comfort, trusting Him in suffering, and letting Him shape us through every season.
Are you content with a surface-level faith, or do you hunger to experience the depths of Christ’s love, power, and presence? Let your desire for “more” drive you to seek Him beyond routine, asking Him to reveal Himself in new ways. As you yield, you’ll discover that Christ is inexhaustible, and there is always more of Him to know and enjoy.

Prayer:

Lord, I want to know You more. Draw me deeper into Your presence. Show me what I need to surrender so that I may experience more of Your power and love in my life. Amen.

Action:

Identify one area of your life where you sense Jesus asking for greater surrender. Invite Him into that space and ask for His help to yield more fully.
