Scripture:
Philippians 2:9–11 (NIV)
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Reflection:
After the deepest humility and obedience comes exaltation. Jesus is lifted to the highest place, and His resurrection is the Father’s declaration that Christ’s way is the true way. He reigns above every name and power. This isn’t abstract theology—it changes my daily reality. The One I follow is not powerless, but the reigning Lord of all. His authority redefines my fears, ambitions, and even my identity. If every knee will bow, my worship now is a privilege and preparation for eternity. I’m invited to live each day under Christ’s gracious reign, confident that He alone has the final word.
Prayer:
King Jesus, I honor You as Lord of all. Let my heart bow before You in every area. Teach me to worship You in spirit and truth, trusting Your reign over my life.
Action:
Physically bow in prayer today, naming areas of your life where you want Jesus to reign. Surrender them to Him.
