John 10:10 (NIV)
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Reflection:
Abundant life isn’t about having more things or chasing after fulfillment in careers, relationships, or achievements. All those pursuits, apart from Christ, leave us empty. Jesus came so you could have a life overflowing with hope, joy, and peace—a quality of life that circumstances cannot take away. This kind of living means you can find strength when you feel weak, joy that goes deeper than fleeting happiness, and hope that stands firm in every valley. Jesus’ presence brings meaning and purpose that you simply can’t manufacture on your own. Life in Him is marked by freedom from guilt, the power to overcome sin, and a daily sense of His companionship, no matter what you face.
Prayer:
Jesus, fill my life with Your abundance. Where I’ve chased after lesser things, forgive me. Let me know Your peace, joy, and strength today. Remind me that true life is found in You alone.
Action:
Identify one area where you’ve been searching for fulfillment apart from Christ. Surrender it to Him today in prayer, and ask Him to fill that space with His abundant life.
