Forgiven and Justified

 Scripture:
Romans 5:9
"Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!"

 Reflection:

Justification means standing before God "just-as-if-I'd-never-sinned." This isn't because you've earned it or because your good outweighs your bad—it's solely because of Jesus' blood. When God looks at you, He sees you covered by the blood of His Son. The record is expunged. The guilt is removed. You are declared righteous. Stop walking on eggshells around God. Stop second-guessing whether He's really okay with you. His blood has justified you—you have been declared right with God. This is the confidence you can carry into every prayer, every struggle, every day.

 Prayer:

Father, thank You that through Jesus' blood I am justified—completely forgiven and made right with You. Forgive me for the times I've approached You with shame and guilt instead of confidence. Help me to truly believe that when You see me, You see me covered by Jesus' blood, not stained by my sin. Let me walk in the freedom of being justified. Amen.

 Action:

Confess any sin you've been holding onto, then consciously receive God's forgiveness. Say aloud: "I am justified by the blood of Jesus. I stand before God as if I'd never sinned." Refuse to rehearse that sin again today.
