Scripture:
Colossians 1:16
"For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him."
Reflection:
God has positioned you exactly where you are for a reason. Your family, your workplace, your community, your church—these are not random. They are your mission field. You may not be called to cross oceans, but you are called to see the people God has put in your path. Are you serving your family as your mission? Are you being salt and light in your workplace? Are you engaged in your church, not just attending but bringing your gifts to serve the mission? Retirement from a career doesn't mean retirement from calling. Every season, every position is part of God's purpose for you.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to see where You've placed me with fresh eyes. Show me the mission field of my family, my workplace, my community, and my church. I confess that sometimes I've treated these places as obligations rather than opportunities. Give me a vision for how You want to use me right where I am. Make me faithful in the positions You've given me. Amen.
Action:
Choose one place where God has positioned you (family, work, community, or church) and identify one specific way you can serve or be salt and light this week. Then do it.
