Even demons recognize that Jesus has ultimate authority and that their time is limited. They know there's an appointed time for their final judgment. Here's what should encourage you: nothing in the spiritual realm—no demon, no temptation, no trial—can go beyond the boundaries Jesus sets. When Job was tested, God set limits Satan couldn't cross. When you face trials, God promises not to let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, and He will provide a way through. You're not at the mercy of spiritual forces—you're under the protection of the One who commands them all. Whatever you're facing today, God has set boundaries around it, and He's working it for your good.
Prayer:
Lord, when I feel overwhelmed and outnumbered, remind me that You set the boundaries. Nothing touches my life without passing through Your hands first. Help me trust that what You permit, You will use for my growth and Your glory. Give me courage to face today's challenges knowing You are with me. Amen.
