Scripture:
Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Reflection:
You are not who you used to be. You are not defined by your past sins, your failures, your addictions, or the lies others have spoken over you. Jesus is sustaining your identity as a new creation. When you look in the mirror, God sees His child—redeemed, forgiven, and filled with His Spirit.
The enemy wants you to live in the old identity, but Jesus has given you a new one. You are identified BY Christ (as His beloved) and IN Christ (filled with His presence). That's who you are, and Jesus is sustaining that truth in you every single day.
Prayer:
Father, renew my mind to see myself as You see me. I reject the lies that I am still defined by my past. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. Help me walk in the freedom of my true identity today. Let Your Spirit remind me throughout this day that I belong to You. Amen.
Action:
Look in the mirror today and say out loud: "I am a new creation in Christ. The old is gone, the new has come." Identify one old lie you've believed about yourself and replace it with the truth of who God says you are.
