Psalm 139:13-14 (NLT)
"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it."
Reflection:
You are not an accident. You are not a cosmic mistake or a random collection of cells. Jesus Himself created you with intentional complexity and care. From your 60,000 miles of blood vessels to the unique wiring of your personality, you are His workmanship—His masterpiece. Yes, sin has stained the picture, but Jesus came to wash away that stain with His blood. When you look in the mirror today, don't just see your flaws or failures. See someone Jesus valued enough to die for. See someone created with divine purpose.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for creating me so wonderfully and intentionally. Help me see myself the way You see me—not as broken beyond repair, but as a masterpiece being restored. Thank You that my physical body, my personality, my very existence has purpose in Your plan. Forgive me for the times I've treated myself as worthless when You paid the highest price for me. Amen.
Action:
Write down three things about how you're made (physical abilities, personality traits, natural talents) and thank God specifically for creating you with those features. Ask Him how He might want to use them for His kingdom purposes.
