Scripture:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." – Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
Reflection:
God has everything in order, including the timing for your life. The sermon powerfully reminds us that timing is critical—in the planets, the seasons, music, sports, and especially in God's plan for you. He is never late, but He's never early either.
Perhaps your miracle feels overdue. Your prayers seem unanswered. Your breakthrough hasn't come. "Be still" means trust Him and don't run ahead. Waiting isn't wasted time—God is often doing something in the meantime that you can't yet see. His timing is perfect, even when it tests your patience.
Prayer:
Father, I confess my impatience. I want answers now, breakthroughs today, miracles immediately. But You are never late and never early—Your timing is perfect. Help me be still and trust Your schedule rather than demanding my own. Open my eyes to what You might be doing in this season of waiting. Give me faith to believe that You're working even when I can't see it. Amen.
Action:
Identify one area where you're growing impatient with God's timing. Instead of demanding a timeline, ask God, "What do You want to teach me or develop in me during this waiting season?" Journal what comes to mind, and commit to watching for His work in the meantime.
