Don't Ignore the Warning Light

 Scripture:
Romans 3:23; 6:23
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God... For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

 Reflection:

When the check engine light comes on, you can ignore it, cover it up, or pretend it's not serious—but the problem remains and will only get worse. The Bible functions as your spiritual warning system, revealing that something needs attention. You were born with a "check engine light" on—sin separates us from God. But God doesn't just diagnose the problem; He provides the solution. Jesus offers forgiveness, transformation, and eternal life. Ignoring God's Word might feel easier in the moment, but you'll stall out spiritually and never reach the destination God has for you.

 Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You that You don't just point out my problems—You are the solution. Thank You for dying for my sins and offering me eternal life. Help me take Your Word seriously as a daily part of my life. I don't want to ignore the warning lights; I want to be aligned with Your purposes for me. Amen.

 Action:

If you've been ignoring God's Word or putting off dealing with something He's been showing you, take action today. Confess what you've been avoiding. If you've never surrendered your life to Christ, today is the day to call on Him for salvation. If you're a believer who's been spiritually stalled, commit to engaging with Scripture daily this week.
