Scripture:
2 Timothy 3:15
"And how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus."
Reflection:
Timothy's foundation was built early—from childhood, he knew the Scriptures. This wasn't just head knowledge; it was wisdom that led to salvation. A biblical worldview isn't formed overnight. It's built line upon line, precept upon precept, from the earliest moments of life.
Your worldview determines how you process everything—politics, finances, relationships, parenting, work. When Scripture is your foundation, you don't just react to circumstances; you respond with God's wisdom. You don't just vote based on personality; you consider which policies align with God's values. You don't just parent based on trends; you raise children according to eternal principles.
If you have children or grandchildren in your life, you're building their foundation right now. Every Scripture you speak over them, every Bible story you share, every time you bring them to church—you're giving them tools they'll need when life gets hard.
Prayer:
Lord, help me develop a truly biblical worldview. I want to filter every decision through Your Word. Show me where I've been influenced more by culture than by Scripture. For the children in my life, give me wisdom to plant seeds of faith that will bear fruit for generations. Make me faithful to speak Your truth in love. Amen.
Action:
Speak one Scripture over a child or young person in your life this week. If you don't have children nearby, text or call a younger believer and share an encouraging verse with them.
