Scripture:
"With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation." — Isaiah 12:3 (ESV)
"Jesus answered, 'Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.'" — John 4:13-14 (NIV)
Reflection:
God's grace isn't a one-time gift you received at salvation and then moved on from. It's a well you return to daily, drawing fresh joy, strength, and hope. The wells of salvation include God's unconditional love, unmerited grace, undeniable forgiveness, unrestricted access, and unending life—and so much more. Jesus is the Living Water who never runs dry. When you feel depleted, discouraged, or dry spiritually, it's time to return to the well. Your joy isn't dependent on your circumstances; it flows from the constant, abundant grace of God available to you every single day.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that Your grace is new every morning and Your well never runs dry. Help me to develop the daily habit of drawing from the wells of salvation—through prayer, worship, Scripture, and simply resting in Your presence. When I feel spiritually dry, remind me to return to You, the source of Living Water. Fill me afresh with Your joy today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Action:
Create a "Wells of Action: Create a "Wells of Salvation" journal. List the nine wells mentioned in this sermon series (Unconditional Love, Unmerited Grace, Uncommon Presence, Unequivocal Transformation, Unburdened Freedom, Unlimited Potential, Undeniable Forgiveness, Unrestricted Access, and Unending Life). Each day this week, choose one well and write down specific ways you've experienced that aspect of God's grace in your life. When you're struggling, return to this journal to remind yourself of God's abundant provision.
