Unrestricted Access to the Father

 Scripture:
"Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." — Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

"For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit." — Ephesians 2:18 (NIV)

 Reflection:
Before Christ, humanity was separated from God by sin. But Jesus changed everything. His death tore the veil in the temple, symbolizing that the way to God was now open. You no longer need a priest to approach God on your behalf—you can come directly to Him, anytime, anywhere. And you don't come timidly or fearfully; you come with confidence, knowing you're welcomed as a beloved child. God's throne isn't just a throne of judgment—it's a throne of grace, where mercy and help are freely given. Whatever you're facing today, you have unrestricted access to the God of the universe.

Prayer:  Father, thank You that I can come boldly into Your presence because of Jesus. Help me to never take this privilege for granted. When I'm struggling, remind me that I don't have to face it alone—I can come directly to You for mercy, grace, and help. Teach me to seek deeper intimacy with You through prayer, worship, and Your Word. I'm grateful that Your door is always open to me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

 Action:

Set aside 15 minutes today for uninterrupted time with God. Find a quiet place, approach His throne with confidence, and pour out your heart to Him. Share your struggles, your needs, your fears—and then sit quietly and listen. Practice receiving His mercy and grace.
