The Foundation of Truth

 Scripture:
2 Timothy 3:16-17
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

 Reflection:
God's Word isn't just an ancient collection of stories—it's the living, breathing, inspired Word of the Creator Himself. When we treat the Bible as outdated or irrelevant to modern issues, we lose our foundation. Progressive Christianity and other movements try to rewrite Scripture to fit cultural trends, but God's truth doesn't change with the times. The Bible addresses every issue we face today—not because it's trendy, but because God knows His creation. He wired us, He understands us, and His Word equips us for everything we need. Without regular time in Scripture, we become vulnerable to every wind of teaching that blows through our culture.

 Prayer:

Lord, forgive me for the times I've treated Your Word as optional or outdated. Remind me that Scripture is Your voice speaking into my life today. Create in me a hunger to know Your Word deeply, not just to hear about it secondhand. Make me complete and equipped through the truth of Scripture. Amen.

 Action:

Begin reading the Gospel of John today—three chapters to start (John 1-3 or continue in John 3-6). Don't rush. Read slowly enough to let the words sink in. If you haven't been reading your Bible regularly, this is your fresh start.
