Focused on God

 Scripture:
"But Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" — Matthew 19:26 (ESV)

Reflection:
The ten spies saw giants and felt small. The two faithful spies saw the same giants but kept their eyes on a bigger God. What captures your attention shapes your faith. When we focus on our problems, they grow larger than life. When we focus on God, our problems shrink in comparison to His power.
Today, consider what's been dominating your thoughts lately. Is it a financial struggle? A relationship conflict? A health concern? These are real, but they're not bigger than God. Faith doesn't deny the giants exist—it simply refuses to let them become bigger than the One who created the universe.
Your faith isn't dependent on your strength, your resources, or your abilities. It rests entirely on God's character and His promises. The question isn't whether your problem is big—it's whether your God is bigger.

 Prayer:

Father, forgive me for the times I've made my problems bigger than You. Help me shift my focus from what I can see to who You are. When giants loom large, remind me that You are infinitely larger. Give me the faith of Caleb and Joshua—eyes fixed on Your promises rather than on obstacles. I choose to trust that with You, all things are possible. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Action:
Write down one challenge you're facing. Below it, list three attributes of God that are bigger than that challenge (His power, His faithfulness, His love, etc.). Each time worry creeps in today, redirect your focus by reading this list aloud.
