Called to Mission

   Scripture:
Matthew 28:19-20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

  Reflection:

Every believer has been called into mission with Christ. This isn't just for pastors or missionaries—it's for you. The Great Commission is your commission. God has strategically placed you in your family, workplace, neighborhood, and community to make disciples. You don't need to travel overseas to fulfill this calling (though you might!). You simply need to say yes where you are. And notice Jesus' promise: "I am with you always." You're never alone in this mission.

  Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for calling me into Your mission. Sometimes I feel unqualified or afraid, but I know You've equipped me and promised to be with me. Open my eyes to the mission field around me—my coworkers, neighbors, family members, and friends who need You. Give me boldness to share Your love and wisdom to make disciples. I say yes to Your calling today. In Your name, amen.

  Action:

Write down the names of three people in your life who don't know Jesus. Commit to praying for them daily this week and ask God to show you how to share His love with them.
