You Are Anointed

   Scripture:
Luke 4:18-19
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

  Reflection:

Just as the Holy Spirit anointed Jesus for mission, He has anointed you. When you were born again, the Spirit didn't just save you—He equipped you. You carry the same Spirit that empowered Jesus to heal, teach, and transform lives. Your anointing isn't about your credentials or platform; it's about God's presence living in you. Today, recognize that you are not ordinary—you are anointed, equipped, and called for kingdom purposes.

  Prayer:

Holy Spirit, thank You for taking up residence in me. I acknowledge that You haven't just saved me but anointed me for Your purposes. Help me to see myself as You see me—equipped, empowered, and called. Open my eyes to the gifts and abilities You've placed within me. I don't want to waste what You've given me. Awaken my heart to Your mission today. In Jesus' name, amen.

  Action:

Take 10 minutes today to list three abilities or skills you have. Ask God, "How can I use these for Your kingdom?" Write down what comes to mind, even if it seems small.
