Scripture:
Psalm 139:13-14
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
Reflection:
Your identity isn't found in your bank account, your job title, or your possessions. God gave personal attention to creating you. He skillfully fashioned you with purpose and intention. You are not an accident or careless workmanship—you are His masterpiece. When financial pressures or material concerns threaten to define you, remember: you mean more to God than the birds He feeds and the flowers He clothes. If He takes such care of creation that will perish, how much more does He care for you, the crown of His creation? Your value isn't determined by what you have but by whose you are.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me with intention and purpose. When I'm tempted to measure my worth by worldly standards—my income, possessions, or achievements—remind me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made by You. Help me see myself through Your eyes. You valued me enough to send Jesus to die for me. Let that truth anchor my identity today. Amen.
Action:
Before checking your phone or scrolling social media tomorrow morning, spend 10 minutes with God first. Read Psalm 139 and thank Him for three specific ways He's designed you. Write them down and refer back to them when insecurity strikes.
