The Living Stone Foundation

 Scripture:
Isaiah 28:16
"So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: 'See, I will lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.'"

 Reflection:

Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of His church—the tested, precious foundation upon which everything else is built. Just as a physical cornerstone sets the alignment and stability for an entire structure, Jesus provides the alignment for our lives and our church family. When we build on Him, we're building on something that has been tested and proven reliable. The question isn't whether the foundation is solid—it's whether we're choosing to build our lives upon it. For the next generation to have hope, we must remain firmly planted on Christ, the living stone.

 Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are my cornerstone and foundation. Help me to build my life completely upon You—not on my preferences, my desires, or the shifting opinions of culture. Keep me aligned with Your truth and stable in Your love. As Victory Family Church looks toward the next 30 years, anchor us firmly to You. May everything we build be centered on who You are and what You've called us to do. In Your name, Amen.

 Action:
Identify one area of your life where you've been building on something other than Christ (career success, others' approval, comfort, etc.). Write it down and commit to realigning that area with God's Word this week.
