Scripture: Joshua 4:3
"Command them, saying, 'Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests' feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.'"
Reflection: God instructed Israel to take the memorial stones from the exact spot where the miracle happened—where the priests' feet stood as the waters parted. The memorial was to be made FROM the miracle itself. This is profound: your testimony isn't separate from your trial. The very place where you experienced God's breakthrough becomes the foundation of your legacy. That season of financial struggle where God provided? That's a stone. That relationship that was restored? That's a stone. That healing, that deliverance, that answered prayer? Those are your stones. Don't minimize your miracles or forget where God met you. The place of your greatest need often becomes the place of your greatest testimony. Your memorial is built from the moments when God showed up and parted the waters for you.
Prayer: Lord, help me recognize the miracles You've performed in my life—even the ones I've taken for granted. The places where You've parted my Red Seas and my Jordan Rivers are sacred ground. Give me boldness to build memorials from these moments, to let others know that You are still the God of miracles. Don't let me forget where You've brought me from or how You've carried me through. Amen.
Action: Identify one specific "miracle moment" in your life—a time when God clearly intervened. Write out the full story with as much detail as you can remember: what you were facing, how you felt, what you prayed, and how God answered. Save this testimony to share when the opportunity arises, and thank God specifically for that moment today.
