Scripture: Psalm 145:4
"One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts."
Reflection: "You got to dance with the one that brung you." Victory Family Church's story reminds us that we must continue with the God who has brought us this far. As we look toward the future, we don't need new strategies as much as we need renewed faithfulness to the God who has never failed us. Building legacy requires sacrifice, obedience, prayer, and faith. It means investing in things we may never see completed—like pouring foundations for buildings we won't use, so the next generation has what they need. What are you willing to invest in today that may not benefit you, but will bless those who come after?
Prayer: Father, I commit to dancing with You—the One who brought me this far. Give me a vision beyond my own lifetime. Help me invest sacrificially in the next generation. Show me where You want me to serve, give, pray, and build. Let my life count for Your eternal purposes. May those who come after me achieve great things for Your kingdom because I was faithful in my generation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Action: Take communion today (or this week) as an act of remembrance and recommitment. As you do, pray specifically for the next generation—your children, your church's youth, young families, and those who will carry the faith forward. Ask God how He wants you to invest in their future.
