Scripture: 1 Peter 2:4-5
"As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you also, like living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house."
Reflection: You are not a spectator in God's kingdom—you are a living stone being built into His spiritual house. Just as those memorial stones testified to God's work, your life is a testimony. You're being shaped, refined, and positioned by God for His purposes. Every act of faithfulness, every sacrifice, every moment of obedience becomes part of the legacy you're building. The question isn't whether you'll leave a legacy—everyone does. The question is: what kind of legacy will it be? Will future generations achieve more for God's kingdom because you were in their lives?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, shape me into a living stone that brings glory to Your name. Refine away anything in me that doesn't reflect You. Use my life as a testimony of Your transforming power. Help me live in such a way that others are drawn closer to You because of what they see in me. Make me part of Your eternal purposes. Amen.
Action: Ask yourself: "What am I investing in that will outlast me?" Consider one way you can invest in God's kingdom this week—through serving, giving, mentoring, or sharing your faith. Then do it.
