Scripture: Lamentations 3:22-23
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
Reflection: The stones at the Jordan weren't just about looking back—they were about moving forward with confidence in God's continued faithfulness. Israel still had battles to fight, cities to conquer, and land to possess. They would need to keep trusting God. The same is true for us. Past faithfulness is wonderful, but we need fresh faith for today's challenges. God's mercies are new every morning. The God who brought you through yesterday's trial will be with you in today's uncertainty. Legacy isn't just about what happened—it's about continuing to trust God for what's ahead.
Prayer: Faithful God, I thank You that Your mercies are new every morning. As I face today's challenges, help me trust You as fully as I've seen You work in the past. Give me courage to step forward in faith, knowing You go before me. I choose to rely on Your faithfulness rather than my own strength. Lead me forward. Amen.
Action: Identify one current challenge or uncertainty you're facing. Write it down, then beside it write: "God has been faithful before. He will be faithful again." Pray specifically about this situation each morning this week.
