Scripture: Psalm 77:11-12 (MSG)
"Once again I'll go over what God has done, lay out on the table the ancient wonders. I'll ponder all the things you've accomplished and give a long, loving look at your acts."
Reflection: Just as the Israelites built a memorial of stones at the Jordan River, we need moments to pause and remember God's faithfulness. The stones weren't about Israel's accomplishments—they testified to what God had done. When we take time to reflect on God's faithfulness in our past, it strengthens our faith for the future. What "stones of remembrance" can you identify in your own journey? Perhaps it's a prayer answered, a relationship restored, a provision made, or a healing received. These memories aren't just nostalgia—they're fuel for faith as we face tomorrow's challenges.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness in my life. Help me to pause today and remember the ways You've provided, protected, and guided me. When I face uncertainty ahead, remind me of the stones of remembrance from my past. Let my testimony of Your goodness encourage others who need to see Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Action: Write down 3-5 specific ways God has been faithful to you in the past year. Share one of these testimonies with someone today—a family member, friend, or fellow believer who needs encouragement.
