Scripture:
Isaiah 9:7 -
"Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end..."
Reflection:
Jesus is not just a figure to admire; He is the King we are called to obey. Reflect on whether Jesus truly reigns as King in your heart. Are there areas where you are still trying to share the throne with Him? Consider how His reign can bring transformation and renewal to your life, as you submit to His authority and follow His lead.
Prayer:
King Jesus, I surrender my heart to You. I confess that I often try to share the throne with You, seeking my own way instead of submitting to Your authority. Take Your rightful place on the throne of my life. Help me to follow You wholeheartedly and to trust in Your perfect rule over my life. Amen.
Action:
Take a moment to evaluate your heart. Identify any areas where you have not fully surrendered to Jesus. Write a prayer of surrender, asking Him to take control and reign as King in those areas. Consider sharing your prayer with a trusted friend or mentor, asking them to pray with you and hold you accountable in your journey of faith.
