Scripture:
Isaiah 9:6
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Reflection:
Isaiah's prophecy speaks of a peace that transcends human understanding, a peace that was promised long before Jesus' birth. This peace is not just a temporary relief from life's chaos but a profound, eternal peace that Jesus brings into our lives. Reflect on how this promise of peace has been fulfilled in your life and how it continues to be a source of hope.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of peace through Your Son, Jesus. Help me to trust in this promise and to seek Your peace in every area of my life. Amen.
Action:
Identify one area of your life where you need peace. Write it down and pray specifically for God's peace to reign in that situation.
