Scripture:
1 John 3:1
"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"
Reflection:
Reflect on the story of Jesus blessing the children (Mark 10:13-16). Jesus welcomed them with open arms, demonstrating the value and love He has for each of us as His children. Consider the identity and privilege of being called a child of God. This identity is not based on your performance but on God’s love and grace. How does this understanding shape your self-worth and purpose? How can you live more fully in this identity?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for calling me Your child. Help me to live in the fullness of this identity, embracing Your love and purpose for my life. May I always remember that my worth is found in You alone. Amen.
Action:
Share the love of God with someone today. Let them know about the identity and hope found in being a child of God. Consider writing a note or sending a message to encourage them. Reflect on how you can demonstrate God’s love in your daily interactions.
