Scripture:
John 10:28-29
"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand."
Reflection:
Imagine the hands of Jesus, strong and gentle, holding you securely. This imagery is a powerful reminder of the eternal security we have in Christ. Reflect on the times when you felt most vulnerable or afraid. How did God’s presence provide comfort and protection? Consider the story of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea, where God’s protection was evident as He parted the waters for them. Just as He protected them, He promises to protect you. How does this assurance change your perspective on the challenges you face today?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of Your protection. Help me to rest in the assurance that nothing can separate me from Your love. Strengthen my faith to trust in Your sovereignty over my life. Remind me daily that Your hands are always holding me, guiding me through every storm. Amen.
Action:
Identify a specific fear or anxiety you are facing. Write it down and pray over it, asking God to help you trust in His protection. Place the note in a place where you can see it daily as a reminder of His promise. Consider sharing this with a trusted friend or mentor who can pray with you.
