Faith Before the Walls Fall

Scripture:
Hebrews 11:30

"By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days."

Reflection:

The Israelites’ faith was demonstrated by their obedience to God’s unconventional battle plan. They marched around Jericho, trusting that God would fulfill His promise. Their praise was an act of faith, declaring victory before the walls fell. In our lives, we are often called to trust God’s promises even when we don’t see immediate results. Reflect on how you can exercise faith in God’s promises, praising Him in advance for what He will do.

Prayer:

Lord, give me the faith to praise You even before I see the results. Help me to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises. Strengthen my faith as I wait on You, and help me to praise You with confidence. In Jesus name, Amen.

Action:

Think of a situation where you are waiting for God to move. Write a prayer of praise and faith, declaring your trust in God’s promises. Read it aloud each day, and let it be a reminder of your faith in God’s faithfulness.
