James 4:10
"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up."
Reflection:
Submission and humility are key to experiencing God’s guidance and blessings. Reflect on areas of your life where you may be holding onto control. How can you submit these areas to God? Consider the example of Joshua, who humbled himself before the commander of the Lord’s army. How did this act of submission lead to victory?
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to humble myself before You, to submit my will to Yours, and to trust in Your perfect plan for my life. Help me to let go of control and to rely on Your wisdom and guidance. In Jesus name, Amen.
Action:
Take a moment to identify an area of your life where you need to submit to God’s will. Pray for the strength to surrender this area to Him. Consider writing a prayer of submission and placing it somewhere you will see it daily.
