The Shepherd Who Finds Us

Scripture:
Luke 15:4-7

"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home."

Reflection:

The parable of the lost sheep illustrates the relentless love and pursuit of Jesus for each of us. Consider the times in your life when you felt lost or distant from God. How did He bring you back? Reflect on the joy and relief of being found and carried by the Shepherd. This is a reminder that no matter how far we wander, Jesus is always seeking us, ready to bring us back into His fold with joy and celebration.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being my Shepherd, for seeking me out when I was lost and bringing me back to Your love. Help me to trust in Your guidance and to follow You faithfully. May I never forget the joy of being found by You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Action:

Reach out to someone who may feel lost or alone. Offer them encouragement and remind them of God’s love and presence in their life. Share your own story of being found by the Shepherd to inspire hope.
