Scripture:
Matthew 23:12
“For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
Reflection:
Our human nature craves recognition, but pride always leads to a fall. Jesus reminds us that God honors humility. When we humble ourselves, God lifts us up in His timing. True courage is choosing to lay down pride and live in a way that glorifies God rather than ourselves. Humility takes strength, but it keeps our hearts aligned with God’s kingdom.
Prayer:
Father, guard my heart from pride. Teach me to walk humbly and give You all the glory in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Action:
Intentionally serve someone today without seeking recognition.
