Scripture:
John 3:30
“He must increase, but I must decrease.”
Reflection:
Paul and Barnabas refused to take credit for the miracles God performed through them. Instead, they pointed people to the living God. True courage means humbling ourselves and resisting the desire for recognition. Our world teaches us to promote ourselves, but the gospel calls us to lift up Jesus. Real courage is choosing humility — giving God glory instead of seeking it for ourselves.
Prayer:
Father, help me to decrease so that Christ may increase in me. Teach me to walk in humility and always point others to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Action:
When someone compliments you today, redirect the glory back to God.
