Scripture:
2 Timothy 1:7
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
Reflection:
Fear whispers lies that keep us quiet and still. But God’s Spirit inside of us is stronger than fear. He gives us power to stand firm, love to reach others, and self-control to resist being overwhelmed by our emotions. Courage is not the absence of fear but moving forward in obedience despite it. When fear rises, we can remember that God has already given us what we need to overcome it.
Prayer:
Father, replace my fear with Your strength and fill me with love and discipline. Help me to walk in courage, knowing that You are with me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Action:
Identify one fear holding you back. Write it down, pray over it, and surrender it to God.
