Courage to Be a Witness

Scripture:
Acts 14:9-10

“Paul… said in a loud voice, ‘Stand upright on your feet.’ And he sprang up and began walking.”

Reflection:

Paul had the courage to speak boldly to the crippled man, trusting the Holy Spirit to move. He didn’t let fear of failure stop him from acting in faith. Many times, we hesitate because we fear looking foolish or being rejected. But courage is not about confidence in ourselves, it’s about confidence in God’s power. The Spirit equips us to be witnesses, and our obedience opens the door for God to work through us.

Prayer:

Father, give me boldness to step out in faith and speak when You prompt me. Help me to rely on Your Spirit, not my own strength. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Action:

Share Jesus with someone today, whether through words, prayer, or an act of kindness.
