Scripture: Romans 8:15-16
"For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!' The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God."
Reflection:
Reflect on the profound truth that you are not a slave to fear or sin, but a beloved child of God. Consider what it means to be adopted into God's family and how this changes your identity and purpose. How does knowing you can call God "Abba, Father" impact your daily life?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for adopting me into Your family. Help me to live in the freedom and assurance of being Your child. Let Your Spirit continually remind me of my identity in You. Amen.
Action:
Spend a few moments today writing down what it means to you to be a child of God. Keep this list where you can see it daily as a reminder of your identity in Christ.
