THE ADVENTURE THAT AWAITS YOU
LET’S READ
Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
LET’S CONSIDER
Leisha and I like to travel. If you’re like us, you like to know ahead of time what is available to see and do on your way to, and when you arrive at your destination. Actually, we enjoy taking in the unique sights, sounds and shops that we find while on the journey to our destination. Cruise ships will offer an appealing list of exotic and exciting excursions. Travel agents and hotel concierges will have destination brochures on where to go and what you can expect to take in and do while there. After all, we want to know what we can expect with a particular adventure.
Well friend, when you invited Jesus into your life, and submitted yourself to His Lordship, you set out on an adventure that is out of this world. In fact, it’s a supernatural adventure. Today’s verses, like a travel brochure, assure you that when Jesus fills your life with the overflow of His presence and power, your journey is now full of Holy Spirit activity: signs, wonders, miracles, and manifestation of His power. You have now become a conduit for God to pour out an overflow of His powerful manifestations through you. Maybe this sounds great for those with the status of Apostle, not you. But keep in mind, Jesus says this supernatural action-packed adventure is for all who believe in the message of the Apostles. That’s you friend.

What ways do you see the supernatural activity of the Holy Spirit working in you, and even through? What may you need to acquire from the Lord to see that activity increase?
LET’S PRAY
Lord, thank you for saving me and filling me with your Spirit of life and power. Help me Lord, to rely on you today and each day on my journey with you. And I ask that you will give me wisdom, boldness, and faith to step out today and allow you to work your power through me. Amen
